“Several years ago, four New York friends came up with the idea to form a soup club.

The concept was simple: Each would make a giant pot of soup once a month and share it with the three others.

It meant that, one night each week for three weeks, the women didn’t have to worry about making supper; it would be delivered to them, complete with garnishes and sides such as grated cheese and bread.”
